Platt/Whitelaw Architects, Inc. is providing architectural design services to the County of San Diego to replace a visitors center structure that was burned in the fires of 2003.

The new visitors center will total 3150 square feet with an additional 782 square feet of veranda space. The building accommodations include meeting facilities, administration and exhibit spaces. Platt/Whitelaw is helping the County meet their goals for the new visitors center, including enhancing the public learning experience, energy efficiency, low maintenance and building longevity. Goodan Ranch will be submitted for silver LEED Certification.
