Working intensively with community focus groups and the County of San Diego, Platt/Whitelaw Architects created a design for a new 2,555 square foot branch library, located in the community of Campo, for the County of San Diego.

The new library is located directly adjacent to the school and is designed to complement the architectural character of the old school house.

The library is approximately 2,555 square feet and includes an adult/young adult area, a children’s library, a homework center, staff work room and support Friends of the Library. An outdoor reading terrace serves both the children’s and the adult’s reading areas. Community display areas are provided throughout the library.
