Prima Deshecha Landfill Operations and Administration Building
Platt/Whitelaw is providing complete architectural services for a new green building at the Prima Deshecha Landfill, to house administration and operations activities. Based on initial needs assessment and site analysis the building has been designed to be environmentally friendly and resource efficient and will centralize activities previous scattered in trailers across the landfill site.
The project is located on the landfill site, and special attention was necessary to soil instability and prevent intrusion of methane into the building. The project will be LEED certified.
